Jared Buschang

Jared Buschang was born in 1990 in Rochester, NY. In 2008, after graduating high school, Buschang would move to New York City where he would study photography with a full four-year scholarship at St. John’s University in Jamaica, Queens, whilst spending a year at The International Center for Photography in Midtown Manhattan. Towards the end of his studies, Buschang found himself becoming more and more influenced artistically by drawing and painting, and decided to put his camera away to focus on painting. In 2013, Buschang would move to Barcelona and work with esteemed Spanish painter Eduardo Arranz-Bravo in his studio. Subsequently, Buschang would live and work in Palma De Mallorca, Spain, Strasbourg, France, Paris, Mexico City, Stockholm and finally in Cartagena, Colombia. He would produce pop-up solo shows in Palma, Barcelona, Mexico City, New York City and Rochester, NY, and would have his first major solo show with Lundgren Gallery in Palma de Mallorca in 2015. Jared Buschang is currently represented by Barbara Feinman Gallery in New York City.
